Repetto recently revamped its pointe shoe line. The following models have just made it into the volumes of pointe shoe history.

Swanilda
Somewhat tapered box with a long vamp and a low profile. Featured a 3/4 shank which was available in medium and hard strengths. It featured an elastic band instead of a drawstring.

#204
Flat, moderately short box. Slightly tapered. There were many combinations of shanks, vamps, boxes and heels available.

#205--"Fiorentina" Asymetrical
This was the FIRST pointe shoe pre-shaped to the right and left feet. There were many combinations of shanks, vamps, boxes and heels available.

#215--"Carmen"
This was their second Asymetrical model. This particular model has a short and flat box good for low arches. There were many combinations of shanks, vamps, boxes and heels available.

These pictures of Repetto shoes predate the above models. The exact model is unknown.

This ad was found in an old Dance Magazine. It details several Repetto styles that are no longer made. Including a rare picture of the 212 Opera shoe.

Here are some more pictures of the Repetto Opera kindly donated by a reader.

The following photos are from Angelique, a kind reader from France who is an avid pointe shoe collector.

This pair of Opera's feature a suede tip.

These are an unknown Repetto model- they only feature a number 1 stamped on the outer sole, made no later than the 1980's.

These are a pair of Repetto's from an earlier period, at least as old as the 1950's.
