Leo's Dancewear was founded in 1924 by Leo Harris. The company today is managed by the second and third generations of the family. Below are some pictures and ads of antique leo's shoes.
Roma:This shoe was lightweight with a flat box, shaved leather board shank, flat toe for balance, and a v - shaped vamp. It was designed for professionals and students.

Cecilia Kerche:This shoe was a machine made, long vamped shoe with a higher profile and a very light shank. It was designed for the professional or advanced student. It is unknown if the following shoe is an example of the Leo's Pas De Deux model, or if it had another name.
